Born and raised in Hunterdon County, perhaps the most beautiful corner of New Jersey. My grandfather was a mechanic and a landscaper who instilled the same interests in me at a young age. Many of my earliest memories involve lawnmowers. My father was the first in his family to attend (and graduate) college. I take pride in continuing to advance my family by being the first on my father's side to pursue a graduate degree. I am thankful for values instilled in me by my parents and the work ethic passed down from my grandfather and grandmother, the latter of who continues to do my yard work at 80+ years old when I'm not around.
I have always possessed an interest in mechanical devices, particularly those on wheels. Growing up, I was fascinated with trains and farm equipment. This shifted to cars and motorcycles in late elementary school. These interests have pushed me to pursue engineering for most of my life, and I have been lucky to find success in this field.
At home I find relaxation in doing yard work, being outside, and helping with house projects. My other hobbies include biking and hiking, discovering new music, and working on my car when I can convince myself that I have the funds to do so and that I'm actually ruining it. I also love free museums which always plays into my feelings about any city.
